  • What is the address for the Event Center at the Mt, Hope Auction?

    8076 State Route 241 Millersburg, OH 44654

  • Will this be held in a heated facility?

    Yes, the auction portion and most of the stalling will be in a heated building.

  • Which building will the sale be held and where will the sale horses be stalled?

    The sale ring and all horses will be stalled in the Event Center Building.

  • Do you have to the breeder to consign horses to the Morgan Breeder’s Cup Sale?

    No any registered Morgan will be eligible for the sale.

  • Will we always have a portion of our sale dedicated to herd production/reduction sales?

    Our goal is to always have a portion of the sale for this available if the demand stays there from consignors.

  • Do I have to be there to buy a horse?

    No we will provide phone bidding and have an online platform available. Presale inspection is advised.

  • Where will I board my horse till transportation is set up if I purchase a horse online or on the phone?

    The auction committee will provide stalling at their farms or help set up boarding as needed.

  • How is the Stallion Service Fee Auction connected to the 3yr old Park Harness Class at Gold Cup and New England Regional?

    We will donate 50% of the proceeds from the Stallion Service Fee auction to the Gold Cup class. 25% will go to the Stallion Owner if the horse is present at the sale. 25% will be donated a worthy charity in the Morgan Horse family. Every stallion owner and buyer of the a service fee will get a voucher for the next years class.

  • Can I sell my voucher?

    Yes, a voucher may be sold without being attached to a horse prior to June 1st upon payment of a $1000 transfer fee to the Morgan Breeder’s Cup. Contact the secretary to sell a voucher with the buyer’s information and payment. 

  • Do I have to use my voucher on a horse that is bred by the stallion that I consigned or purchased?

    No, your voucher is good for any 3 yr old registered Morgan for that class.
